at Ten Thousand Villages! We are mainly a volunteer-operated
organization and currently have more than 70 dedicated
volunteers.

If
you enjoy communicating with people and sharing stories, you
might enjoy being a Sales Associate in our store. Volunteer
Sales Associates work a minimum of eight hours each month. Our
Associates not only actively engage our customers in helping
them find the right gifts for any occasion but they explain
where crafts originate, how they are made and why buying at Ten
Thousand Villages is so important to changing the lives of
artisans around the world.
If
talking to people is not your strength or you have less than 8
hours a month that you can volunteer, maybe you would like to
help with the essential behind-the-scenes work such as
housekeeping or checking in merchandise when it arrives. We are
also looking for volunteers who are interested in helping to
spread the word about fair trade throughout the Pasadena and
broader Los Angeles community.
If
you are interested in volunteering - get started by attending
one of our volunteer orientations on the first Tuesday of every
month (except Dec.) at 7p.m.. Call the store to confirm
the details of the next orientation.
